Original Painting - Sunset Shadows, Sycamore Gap
If you have followed my artwork for a while, you will know that I reside in the North East of England have painted this ancient place for many years. As you may know every Autumn I paint this place, I have always loved to capture this place in different seasons and light. It was so saddening to hear about what happened. I honestly didn't believe it at first. I wasn't sure if I would finish this piece, but I am glad that I did. It makes for a beautiful reminder of this most magical place. I will always continue paint this place as it was, as it has always been such a huge inspiration. Here we find ourselves surrounded by autumn golden yellows, mustards, with beautiful ‘cool’ blue shadows.
